Retrospective Exhibition

To be opened by Carol Phillips on 21 September at 18h00 for 18h30
At: Irma Stern Museum
Dates: 21 - 29 Sept 2012
Walkabout by the artist on 22 & 29 Sept at 11h00

Michael Cope has been making beautiful jewellery in Cape Town for over forty years. During this time he has produced a dazzling and incredibly various range of work - Renaissance rings, figurative rings, morendist rings, much-loved wedding rings, sculptural pendants, minimalist earrings, angel bracelets, necklaces of fish and birds... His retrospective exhibition celebrates his masterful oeuvre, bringing together photographs of some of the highlights of four decades of craftsmanship and a substantial collection of recent work.

We invite you to join us at the opening night on the Spring Equinox, wearing as much of his jewellery as you can.
